Booking Conditions:
To book a course please fill in the on-line form on our web page www.bisls.com and submit it to us. Please add any special food requirement such as vegeterian or celiac diet in the comments box. A €400 (£333) deposit should be paid to complete the reservation process (see payment conditions for details). The total amount of the course can be also paid up front.
Should you require flight booking service please provide from which airport and date the student intends to fly as well as his/her passport number. We will send you an e-mail with the budget once your confirmation and money transfer have been received the flights will be booked. A €30 (£25) service fee applies.
By e-mail you will receive confirmation of your course and outstanding fees as well as detailed information for the student’s journey and stay. You will also receive a placement test to be returned to us once completed by the student. Approximately 10 days before the course starts and once full payment has been received, Barcelona Intensive Spanish Language School (BISLS) will send you the accommodation address.
Last minute enrolments: students who enroll less than 30 days prior to the course starting date are required to pay all fees upon enrolment.
Payment conditions:
The exact prices are set in euros in the main "Prices" page. The prices in pounds are a mere approximation taking into account an exchange rate of £1=€1,2.
Please note payments are only accepted in euro € and must be received by Barcelona Intensive Spanish Language School 30 days prior to the course starting date.

All bank fees have to be paid by the student. Please state the student’s name, type and date of course on all transfer forms.
Enrolment cancellations:
a) With a minimum of 30 days advance notice, the full course less €200 from the deposit will be refunded. Nevertheless, should the student enroll in another course (different dates), the €200 will be deducted from the price.
b) If notice is given with less than 30 days, BISLS will refund the student with a full payment less the whole deposit (€400), which will be valid for another course starting the same year.
c) Students who start but do not finish their program will not be refunded any course fees.
d) Bank fees will not be refunded.
Accommodation:
Students will always know the address of their host family at least 10 days prior to the beginning of their course. Some of the host families take in two or three students as long as BISLS considers that the facilities are the appropriate. Since part of the aim of the course is to get an inner perspective of the Spanish culture, the students are supposed to accept those customs considered normal within the family.
Possible expulsions:
In case of a severe discipline fault, continuous bad behaviour, intentionally breaking the local law or drug consumption (including alcohol and tobacco) the student will be immediately expelled. Traveling expenses and legal damage compensations are to be covered by the parents or legal representative.
Emergencies:
In case of extreme emergency, such as illness, accident, etc. and under medical advice, any member of BISLS is authorized to intern the student at a medical center to properly treat him or her. BISLS is allowed to make decisions regarding surgery in emergency cases as long as it is not possible to contact the parents/legal responsible.
Use and promotion of the consumers’ image:
BISLS will not release the consumers’ data to any third party and will only use it for its own commercial purpose. Since image property is part of the consumers’ data, the consumer gives BISLS the right to use pictures taken during the course in its brochures, leaflets, websites, etc. BISLS will not use the consumers’ data as long as it receives a written communication requesting not to use it.
