Levels:

In Barcelona Intensive Spanish Language School we offer an appropriate level for every student to feel comfortable in the lesson. We offer three main levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. After the booking of a course the student will receive placement test via e-mail that has to be returned to us before the course starts in order to allocate the student in the most appropriate level. It is highly recommendable that the students fill the tests on their own.

Beginner (A1)

The students with a beginner level can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic sentences aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. They usually can introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they have. They can interact in a simple way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Intermediate (A2)

The students with an intermediate level can understand and use more complex language constructions. They are familiar with vocabulary and expressions related to activities such as shopping, asking directions, family, etc. They can communicate in simple terms aspects of their daily life.

Advanced (B1)

The students with an advanced level of Spanish can understand the main ideas of written and oral texts in normal varieties of the language as long as they refer to known topics. They feel confident in most of the situations that involve using the language and can produce coherent and simple texts about a variety of topics including expressing opinions and plans.`

Keep improving (B2, C1 and C2)

For those students with a high Spanish level we also run B2, C1 and C2 courses on request. Should you be interested in a higher level, do not hesitate to contact us and we will arrange a course that suits your needs.
